Gypsy Funk's New Age music moves your dancing feet.

Their shows at Drums From Heaven were awesome & well received.

—Tommy PH

This band has a unique and magical presence about them. Tapping into a genre that is rarely seen at festivals or gigs. The instruments are unique, songs are fun and interactive, and stage presence is through the roof. Five minutes into their gig with us, which was one of two sets scheduled, it started misting when it was almost 100º—sun shining, not a cloud in the sky, just magical vibes. This band really knows what they are doing, and absolutely not faking the magic and energy they are conjuring up. What a captivating band, and great with the crowd, that is sure to be a positive addition to any lineup or gig you have lined up.

Gypsy Funk Squad & fans or as Jack Lowry describes them, "CRAZY PEOPLES!"

I invite you to experience Gypsy Funk Squad, a band that's basically a party on legs and travels in a cool van, illuminating the East Coast Woodlands, nearby big cities (if they're lucky!) and small towns, with their ridiculously fun and multicultural musical experience, blending international sounds infused with the soulful wail of the dumbek, resonating tambourines, dancing colored scarves, and devotional songs that uplift the soul, all while making you laugh and dance like a crazy person. This ensemble offers a diverse repertoire, including otherworldly spirituals and fun pop covers disguised as otherworldly spirituals, that inspire and delight, and their eclectic style is like something straight out of a comic book, think Josie and the Pussycats and Scooby Doo's crew, but instead of solving mysteries, they spread inner joy and harmony through their artistry, and trust us, it's a real thing.

Don't believe me?

Listen to their album on Spotify and you'll be grooving in 6/8 time to I Wanna See You Belly Dance while collecting the pop music presences and references along the way.

You'll never wear Yoga Pants the same way! Eat Your Broccoli and and remember, Love Is My Religion too!

Gypsy Funk Squad brings the Rhythm and Good Vibes! What a group of musically talented and versatile artists…they bring many unique instruments into their sets, singing in multiple languages, creating grooves that make you want to move while encouraging others to dance along…they invite connection and the opportunity to shake off inhibition by sharing props and audience participation! You gotta catch one of their shows!

Love following Gypsy Funk Squad around the highways, byways and plain old fields, and green spaces of glorious summer to fall spaces. For the Pied Pipers of funky, old Turkish ballads actually [become] some newly formed tunes for us to dance our time away, in states of letting go of boxed in work. Thank you for instant vacations!

Now I know you're leading us into dancing…in a human state of transforming us into being liberated into your formula for having fun, the best fun, liberated for a few hours into really letting go, the best kind, in rhythm with you.

I really enjoyed seeing all of you.
